Hi TK,

Is it possible to make an 3D scan of an product with the Kflop?

Maybe with an plug-in to another program?

Ps. can I use the probe with mach3 to find centre points?
And if I find the x value left under the product and the x value at the left top of the product I can calculate the angle of the product. Can I also rotate my g-code within mach3 with that angle?

Hi Frank,

I'm sure something like that could be created. It would be fairly easy with a C program to collect the x,y,z points. The points would then need to be converted to triangles if you wish to make an STL file.

Regarding Mach3 probing: probing is certainly possible. See:

Regarding coordinate space rotation: I'm not sure. Mach3 has Function Cfgs | Formulas that may work.
